This page explains how we research and write the content on this site, so you know what to expect from us.
Independence
We are an independent fan run website with no connection to Greggs plc. Greggs does not pay us, brief us, or review our content before publication. Our opinions, such as which items we think are the best value, are entirely our own.
How we research prices
Prices on this site come from three sources: visiting Greggs shops and noting till prices, checking the Greggs app, and comparing delivery platform listings. Where prices differ between these sources, the in shop till price takes priority. Each page carries a last updated date so you can see how fresh the figures are.
We list all three of Greggs price tiers wherever we can: standard shops, central London shops, and franchise shops. London and franchise prices are harder to verify for every item, so where we have less confidence we say so or use a clearly labelled estimate.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. Price corrections are prioritised and are usually published within a few days. We do not silently rewrite pages to hide mistakes; significant corrections are noted with a new updated date.
Reviews and recommendations
When we recommend an item or a deal, it is because we genuinely think it is good value or good eating. Recommendations are never sold. If a page contains affiliate links, that is disclosed separately on our affiliate disclosure page, and it never affects which products we recommend.
What we do not do
We do not publish rumours about new Greggs products as fact. If something is unconfirmed, we say it is unconfirmed. We do not copy content from other websites; everything here is written originally for this site.
