Quick answers to the questions we get asked most about Greggs prices, menus and deals.
How much is a Greggs sausage roll in 2026?
A sausage roll costs around £1.35 in a standard Greggs shop. In central London shops it is about £1.55, and in franchise shops at airports, stations and service stations it is about £1.75. The vegan sausage roll costs the same as the classic one.
What time does Greggs stop serving breakfast?
Most Greggs shops stop serving breakfast at around 11am, though it can vary by shop. After that the menu switches to the lunchtime range. If you are after a specific breakfast item, going before 10:30am is the safe bet.
What is the cheapest Greggs meal deal?
The savoury roll deal is the cheapest full meal deal at £2.95 in standard shops, pairing any sausage roll with a regular drink. The breakfast roll deal at £3.60 is the cheapest way to get a hot breakfast and a coffee together.
Does Greggs have vegan options?
Yes. The permanent vegan range includes the vegan sausage roll, vegan steak bake, vegan Mexican chicken free wrap, vegan glazed ring doughnut, vegan southern fried baguette and a vegan sausage, bean and cheeze melt. Availability varies by shop and by day.
Why are Greggs prices higher in London?
Greggs charges more in central London because running a shop there costs more in rent, wages and overheads. London prices sit roughly 12 to 18 percent above standard high street prices. Franchise shops in airports and service stations charge more still, roughly 25 to 35 percent above standard.
Does Greggs deliver?
Yes, through Just Eat and Uber Eats during opening hours at most shops. Delivery menu prices are higher than in shop prices and a delivery fee applies. Collection orders through the apps let you skip the queue without the delivery fee.
Is Greggs cheaper than Pret or Costa?
For most comparable items, yes. A regular coffee at Greggs is around £2.05 while the same at high street coffee chains is often £3 or more. Greggs sandwiches and bakes also tend to undercut the big coffee chains and sandwich shops, which is a large part of why the meal deals are so popular.
